3D printed human organs – The wonders of bio-printing!

bioprinting-news
Bio-printing is the three-dimensional (3D) printing of biological organs using viable living cells, to be used in surgery, including transplants and reconstructive surgery.
This technology is still in the stages of experimentation and innovation, and currently going through rigorous scientific studies to see if these 3D printed organs will be viable in replacing failing organs and if yes, what their lifespan will be, and under what conditions.
If the technology proves successful, it could one day transform medical treatment! Imagine the lives saved and improved by better functioning, durable organs!
Fascinating, isn’t it?
