WHO WE ARE

Motivated. Curious. Explorative. Collaborative. Driven.

We are teens and youth, here to:

  • Learn and teach.
  • Share our knowledge and experiences.
  • Be mentored and mentor.
  • Collaborate and support each other.

We are interested and engaged, not just in GPA’s and test scores, but in opportunities for growth and success.

If you’re a teen or youth, join our “Student Peer Support Network” Community on LinkedIn and grow with us! Interested in giving back to your community? Join our team!

If you’re an adult willing to share your guidance, experience, expertise and wisdom, THANK YOU! Let’s talk about how you can support the next generation of leaders and STEAM experts!

OUR COMMUNITY

A supportive, collaborative peer-to-peer network

We’ve been there with you! Every single one of us has been, or will be struggling with these:

  • Which HS or college course would be the best choice for next year?
  • What major should I apply for?
  • I need help with a Statistics question and Google is confusing me!
  • I need help building my college list!
  • I need some help editing my essays for college!

As our lives get more complex, we need to rely on each other’s experience and expertise – it truly takes much more than a village, it takes a community across the globe!

Our Mission and Vision

STEAMism Vision Statement

We envision an adaptive, interactive learning environment that is customized to the student's unique personality and learning type - visual learners, hands-on kinesthetic learners, auditory learners, those who prefer micro-learning (bite-sized pieces of information) or are avid readers of large journals. Students come in all types and we would like to support each.

STEAMism Mission Statement

Our mission is to create and grow an adaptive, collaborative, positive, diverse, friendly, respectful, and stimulating learning environment for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) where critical thinking skills can be combined with creativity and design thinking to solve real-world problems.

LET'S COLLABORATE!

Mad writing skills? Publish with us! A born leader and nurturer? Volunteer to be a mentor!
